Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting married this week...

Despite reports to the contrary, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will actually be getting married this week in France.

Yes as the world’s press waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for the Hollywood star’s to tie the knot, some official sounding type from France piped up to say:

“There are no plans for a civil wedding in Correns this weekend”

Having taken the wind out of al our proverbial sails, he then added that the ceremony is far more likely to take place on August 18^th.

Initially it was thought the two would get married this weekend when a flurry of activity was spotted at the couple’s château, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

Probably just the window cleaners popping round then?

Oh well, at least our new wedding hat hasn’t totally gone to waste then – and there was us thinking Brangelina had accidentally forgotten to send us our invitation. We’re sure it’ll be here any minute now… any minute.. any…
